Little Lady & New Hair

Morning, just a little update. I have reached 30 weeks and I am so excited to meet my little princess! There are 10 weeks to go (possibly less or a little more depending on what she decides to do) but we are finally all ready for her to arrive! :)

I had a little baby shower surprise yesterday and I am over the moon that I have such special friends :) Me and my little family want you to know just how much we truly appreciate those who have stuck by me and helped to build me back up during the tough times. You are very special to us.

Little lady has had a name change and we are over the moon about our final decision. It has a very special meaning to me and my man. It is the one. We will be announcing it when she is here.

I have begun to feel braxton hicks again and that combined with an achy body means I will be staying at home for a while until I feel better. I have my dark brown hair back again and I absolutely adore it :)

Hope you have all got good things to look forward to, it keeps you healthy.

Connected Once Again

Heya! Good news....... I am now officially after 5 months, connected to the Internet! I promise to never take it for granted again. Funny how something you use everyday with great ease, once it's taken away, then is the time that you realise just how lucky you were to be connected. Oh well, I'm back!

This came as a lovely surprise today after I had quite a difficult morning. I had a health assessment and I am very glad it is over. I hate how they have to drag everything up that I have finally started to overcome. It seems to bring it all back again and it can be tough, so I'm glad I have my online distraction :)

I went on a lovely walk with my Alfie. He is the sweetest little doggy in the world. He is currently curled up next to me on the sofa dosing off. I love the sound of his snoring, it's so damn cute!

Just a quick hello really, I am excited to show you a few hauls which I have done recently. Both baby and accessories orientated! :)

What have you done today?

Get To Know Me - TAG

I thought it might be nice to go straight into a little questionnaire which might reveal a bit about myself. I'm going to tag some friends at the end of it too so keep an eye out if you have a blog! :)

Get To Know Me -

1.Thing you cannot leave the house without?
I never ever leave the house without my phone because I feel safer with it because I know that if anything goes wrong I will be able to contact someone. I like to be over cautious and prepared when I leave the house!

2.Favorite brand of makeup?
I don't like to splash out too much money on my make up at the moment but my favourite of all time, well so far, is Boots Natural Collection. It makes my skin feel really nice and looks healthy. If I had a bit more money I probably would go for MAC because their range of lipsticks are absolutely gorgeous! Maybe one day...

3.Favourite flowers?
think my favourite flowers are going to have to be pink blossom. When the trees are full of blossom in the summer it makes me so happy! I love the pink and white colours it has.

4.Favourite clothing stores?
I really do love Primark and New Look. I think they both have a lovely range of styles and most of their selection is very affordable and cheerful which I love.

5.Favourite perfume?
I really used to love Cher Lloyds white chocolate and raspberry flavour perfume. I carried it everywhere in my handbag until it ran out. I would really love a nice new perfume actually!

6.Heels or flats?
I absolutely love wearing shoes which have a bit of a heel but I am quite tall as it is (5'8") so sometimes I prefer to wear flats so I don't tower over my friends when we go on nights out.

7.Do you make good grades?
I am actually really proud of my university grades - I got a 2:1 in Media Production :)

8.Favourite colour?
Pink, do you really need to ask me that?!

9.Do you drink energy drinks?
No I don't anymore, I am scared what they might do to my health.

10.Do you drink juice?
Yes yes yes! My favourite is lovely ice cold cranberry juice!

11.Do you like swimming?
I do, but only in the sea. One of my dreams is to swim with dolphins.

12.Do you eat fries with a fork?
No, shuvel them in. Lool

13.Whats your favourite moisturizer?
I have this one moisturizer which I don't ever let myself run out of. It's coconut and smells beautiful and leaves my skin feeling so soft and fresh! I love it :)

14.Do you want to get married later on in life?
I definitely do.

15.Do you get mad easily?
I wouldn't say I ever get mad really, I get upset instead of angry.

16.Are you into ghost hunting?
Erm, deffo not!!

17.Any phobias?
Panic attacks as they happen quite a lot.

18.Do you bite your nails?
Sadly, yes. I do paint my nails every couple of days to try and put me off it but sometimes I do it by accident!

19.Favourtie thing to do to relax?
I love to have a nice hot bubble bath with my radox, I also enjoy cuddles and reading a nice book in my room.

20.If you could be anything in the world, what would you be?
As long as I'm a good person I will be happy but I also dream about being a film director and a writer.

So there we have it, I've answered all the questions so now it's time for me to pass this on to some friends!

Pretty Walls - Haul

When moving into a new place, for me, the most important thing in order to feel at home is to put your stamp wherever you can. When I moved into my current home, it was a block of concrete, shabby walls, shabby floors but slowly over time it has become my favourite place to be. It is finally feeling like my home. Here I just wanted to show you a couple of cute things which I have picked up to make my flat feel more homely! :)

Butterflies and hanging hearts - these are some of my favourite decorations which I picked up during the summertime this year. I think the string of butterflies (which hangs above my fireplace in the living room) looks really cute and cheerful. I'm a big fan of bright colours and mirrors, so this piece is perfect. I got it from a local boutique for £3.50. Only regret is, I wish I got more of them!!

The hanging heart is a Primark purchase. It was also £3.50 as it is quite large compared to my other wall hangings. I liked this in the centre of the fireplace because it draws attention to the centre of the room. I think both of these decorations look really sweet together.

Next is a 3 piece set which I picked up from a bargain shop called B&M. I bought three of these, they were labeled at £2.99 each but when I got to the till they were actually only £1.99! That means I got three of these beautiful wall hangings for under £6! I highly recommend B&M for wall decorations. They have a very unique collection and all of them seem to be very high quality for very little pennies! I have one in my bathroom and two in my living room at either side of my huge window. I am in love with these.

Now this one is something a little special to me. It was actually a gift from my friend Jack as a housewarming present. I thought this was so sweet and I have hung it above my boiler controls in the corridor so I see it every single day. There are heart shapes all over my flat so this fits in perfectly!

Finally, something I got when I was in university in 2014, is a small fabric heart with a lovely little quote on it. I placed this in centre stage opposite my bed in my room. I love the little ribbon that it hangs from and it makes me think about the good things about my day right before I nod off to sleep in the evenings. It is always nice to have positive quotes around the house, I recommend everyone has a little something to make them smile throughout the day. My wall decor certainly does that for me!

How do you like to decorate your home?

Rosie Lily Beauty - Return to Blogging

                                                         RosieLilyBeauty 2015

It's been 6 months since I last poured my mind out onto virtual paper. 6 months since my last YouTube video and about 6 days since I re-found my spark to ignite my passion, once more, for my online world. I am in a good place to share my thoughts, feelings, inspiration, good news and generally spread cheer once more here on my blog.

RosieLucky has been changed to RosieLilyBeauty for no other reason than for me to have a fresh, clean image to re-invent myself in my favourite place in the world - online in my written blog.

On the 9th December 2015, just before snow starts falling for Christmas this year, I am expecting a
little miracle in the form of a baby girl. Florence, we can't wait to meet you little princess. You are so loved and you are the one who has been kicking me to start up dreaming once more.

If you are a follower from my YouTube channel, Instagram or previous blog you will be very much aware of my love for fashion, beauty and all things cute-sy! This is still going to be my main focus online, which will be gently mixed in with a cute baby blog with my mini lady. If you think I wear too many flowers and hair bows on a daily basis, wait until I can accessorise our new addition! (I for one, can't wait and have already stocked up on some adorable outfits for her!)
