Younique Makeup & Shock To The System

Hey friends!

I am sure most of you have noticed that I have recently joined Younique and that I have been very excited to be working with their beautiful makeup! I have received 3 parcels in the post so far and have another exciting one on the way. I absolutely love wearing makeup, although I like it to look natural as I hate the fake look. But even with a natural style of makeup, you can have a lot of fun with it. This is one of the reasons why I joined Younique. I had my business qualified last week as I reached a certain target. I am already working into the second promotion which I am enjoying a lot!

I am also going through the worst time of my life at the moment, one which requires a lot of hard work, and one which is very painful but is soon coming to an end thank goodness. Let's just say, justice will be served in the next few weeks!

So while I have been stuck in hospital for the last few weeks, I have had lots of visits from friends and family, and also have kept distracted by reading a book on small businesses and delving into the glittery world of my new make up stock! I love trying all the products and even made my first video in a year as a result of playing about with my favourite items. This is HUGE for me as I haven't had the courage to make a YouTube video in around 11 months, and as you know I have made over 250 YouTube videos in my time over both my channels. It is my passion. So stopping making them was very painful and out of character.

The last five weeks have been absolute hell, but by keeping my mind focusing positively on lawyers, Younique, my family and friends, I have been able to lift myself out of what could have been it. I feel determined and very ready to fight for what is right, and this is what we are headed towards in the next week or so.

I also have been doing some secret filming on my Silver GoPro 4, in which I managed to record something which has highlighted a major flaw in a certain system of society. This has reignited my belief and determination to revive my media production and video making routes. See, it's all about taking hell and making it worth something.

We are going to come out of this a lot better off, lets just say. Quite rightfully.

Life Lessons

We grow, we change, we gain, we lose, we move on, we last, we win, we feel, we love, we keep, we let go, we strive, we drop, we go on, we live - the more we grow and the more our life changes, we get to know which friendships are made to last and those which were destined to dwindle.

Within these lessons we find our home.

Pastel Clothes & Tiny Toes

Evening friendlings! :)

Thought I would pop by and say hello and ask how you have all been! I have been super busy with my new little family and haven't made enough time for this here Internet.... Anyhoo, thought I would show you a little snippet of my day.

Coral is nearly 6 weeks old now! (Oh my gosh) She started smiling at 5 weeks old and even does tiny little silent laughs! You can see in the photo below how cute and happy she is. I absolutely love her to pieces, we all do. :) I am so excited to be able to play with her more as she has started to interact with her toys and she listens to her musical owl (thanks Kirsty) with great concentration! She had an operation on her tear duct last week bless her, but more on that in another post. This photograph below is now she is all healed and sparkly.

She has also started only waking up about two times in the night which is great for us! Hehe :)

As most of you know, I adore pastel colours and pearls. My outfit today consisted of my favourite (Primark £1.50) pearl necklace, my baby pink cotton top (Asda - George) and my pale blue skinny jeans with ripped knees (present from Reanna from New Look). I enjoyed my clothes today because they were actually comfortable for once. After having Coral I haven't been the most confident of girlies with my body, so when I find something I feel comfortable and happy in it is a blessing. I also wore some ankle boots which I treated myself to a couple of weeks ago! :) What are your favourite things to wear at the moment? I would LOVE to be in a glamorous dress for a night oh my!

While we had our stay in hospital for Coral's operation, we were feeling very worried and scared. My boyfriend got me this cake in the photograph below to cheer me up. I have never seen anything so pretty, I didn't want to eat it... Well yes I did because it vanished pretty god damn quickly! Haha... Good job I'm starting up ice skating again soon with the ice skates he got me for Christmas! Eeeeeek :)

I hope you have been having a good week yourselves, let me know in the comments what you have been up to :)

5 Relaxation Tips & Mini Update

Hey friends! So some exciting things have been going on - I've had Coral! She is 9 days old today and currently snuggled in my left arm. She has been keeping me VERY busy as she is so sweet and cute! Hehe :) I had her after being induced on Saturday Dec 5th and she arrived at 12.38am on Dec 6th 2015.  She weighed a chunky 7"11 oh my!

Onto another topic - relaxation. As most of you know I can get very flustered in my head and can find it very hard to relax at the best of times, but I have come up with a few 100% effective ways for me to feel relaxed and I wanted to share them with you.

1) Bubble Bath - my first port of call when I feel stressy or uncomfortable is a nice hot bubble bath. It does wonders and I have recently been using Lavender oil in my bath which not only smells amazing but has an instant calming effect. I bought it from Holland & Barrets just before my due date for around £5. It is also good for healing so is another reason why I came across it.

2) Reading - To be able to immerse yourself in another world, even if for half an hour, has the complete ability to turn your mood around. I love being able to open my kindle app or a paper back and stick my head in there for a good few hours. A lovely story can be so powerful and extremely fun to get into. I also like reading SOME magazines. Although a lot of the time I don't agree with the way they make us feel we have to be a certain way, I do however, enjoy reading the funny articles and fashion collums. At the moment I have this months issue of Cosmopolitan on my living room table and I have been reading about different hair styles to do with crimpers. It's the little things that keep your mind occupied by happy thoughts that bring you to the state of being relaxed.

3) Quality Time & Cuddles - The power of a cuddle is unbeatable. Hug your dog, your cat, your partner or your pillow! It's amazing how calm and happy a simple little cuddle can make you feel. Never underestimate the benifits of being close to your loved ones. Enjoy your company and open up to them if you have things playing on your mind, don't bottle things up! Everyone knows that never works and you might be surprised how well equipped your loved ones are to help you! So cuddle away!! :)

4) Dress Cosy - It sounds so obvious but I know from personal experience, I could stay in smart clothes and make up with my hair as perfect as I can get it when I'm feeling like I just want to go to sleep and not worry about messing my face up! Especially after a long day out or a busy one, don't be hesitant to change into your comfy pyjamas or lounging around clothes! Scruff your hair up, put some fluffy socks on and make yourself a hot chocolate! The day is done, now it's time to relax! :) I find my whole body relaxes once I have my pyjamas on, even leggings are a good idea when jeans just don't seem to feel right. Comfy clothes is key to feeling at home as well!

5) Fresh Air - Probably the most soothing thing in the world is being outdoors in the fresh breeze. Even a cold winters day holds it's magic, I just love the crisp air on my cheeks. Taking Alfred for a walk is one of the most effective ways for me to get my head together again. I love seeing him toddle around sniffing things. I love seeing the nature and the trees, occasionally saying hello to a fellow dog walker too! It is so lovely being in the outdoors after being inside all day. Breathing fresh air is so calming and I can't think of anything else I'd rather do when things get abit too much during the day. Next time you feel pent up get yourself outside and look up at the sky, no matter what time of year it is, the world has ALOT to offer when it's given a chance. Make the most of the outdoors :)

So there are my 5 favourite ways to relax myself. I really hope this helps someone who may be having a tough day or week. Stay smiling! :)
